Since we were replacing an existing 50 gallon Power Vented water heater, the process wasn't difficult and a plumber friend installed it for us. The blower motor is MUCH quieter than the old one and you can hardly hear it run. The tank produces quite a bit of hot water in one hour (87 gallons).
